Spending much time reading discernment stuff over the last couple of years has been good, but can be a big spirit squasher, too...if you know what I mean.

It is for FREEDOM that Christ has set us FREE. I think we forget this in some of the finger pointing going on out there in internet discernment land.

God loves us, He is not out to get us nor delights in the lost.Alicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00380432930727921469noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7234763472866822975.post-46491142889779162382011-12-26T12:27:46.565-05:002011-12-26T12:27:46.565-05:00I see that Jred is in prayer about this tricky and...I see that Jred is in prayer about this tricky and troublesome area, and I also will join with him in asking the Lord's direction for LUF on this topic. I see the "pharisees" as troublemakers, but the Lord made them too, and all will be to come to a good outcome (Romans 8:28)Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00498627087140234765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7234763472866822975.post-72479292407793539942011-12-26T11:16:50.659-05:002011-12-26T11:16:50.659-05:00Yes, Jedidja, it is a very difficult issue. I think it can be a problematic issue for some that come out of the occult, for instance, and worry that anyone doing anything that might have occult overtones or undertones or roots, is going to go straight to hell for doing whatever they think is wrong.

But Jesus gives us back whatever we think we lost by entering into a relationship with Him. I turned away from everything to come to Him, and when I did, I lost nothing of value and gained everything that had true value. It was an awesome trade that only a generous and loving Heavenly Father could give. :)

Thanks for visiting and adding your thoughts! Hope your new year is especially blessed.Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00498627087140234765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7234763472866822975.post-87077168165006945102011-12-26T03:53:23.323-05:002011-12-26T03:53:23.323-05:00Thank you for this explanation. We can learn much from each other. Something to show from Christ's attitude, in situations where you will not be accepted as a real Christian, is not easy.Aritha V. https://www.blogger.com/profile/05246873990952078356noreply@blogger.com
