The way that I realized that I needed God was that someone at my work when I was still a youngster, cared enough about me to tell me about the end times, and the mark of the beast. That woke me up. At first I went the wrong direction, but eventually the Lord brought me to understand about Him. But I never would have looked at all if Don didn't put it into terms that I could see happening all around me. I definitely do not fret or worry about it, nor do I get depressed about it. I'm very excited that His coming is just a few years away. :DSusanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00498627087140234765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7234763472866822975.post-27715757815759033262013-04-08T07:29:59.805-04:002013-04-08T07:29:59.805-04:00I didn't mean that you should change it:) Just...I didn't mean that you should change it:) Just that maybe we (I) should stop listening to people who are setting dates at all. It's always good to watch and pray and rest in the Lord. He's got it covered.Alicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00380432930727921469noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7234763472866822975.post-42632183395261072362013-04-08T01:12:35.584-04:002013-04-08T01:12:35.584-04:00BTW, if you are up to looking at yet another timel...BTW, if you are up to looking at yet another timeline for a possible time for Jesus to return, here's an interesting one:

http://www.thepropheticyears.com/comments/countdown_to_second_coming.htm

Don Koenig says it's approximate (of course) and that it's possible he could be completely wrong :) but gives his reasons why he thinks this might possibly be about how it will pan out. God only knows, and He hasn't told us yet. For some reason I keep mixing him up with Harold Camping. I couldn't answer your comment right away because I was at work, but fortunately I was able to edit the misinformation as soon as I realized what I did. Thanks for the comment or I might not ever have noticed my error.
:)Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00498627087140234765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7234763472866822975.post-69009258605231515062013-04-07T13:25:00.300-04:002013-04-07T13:25:00.300-04:00It's interesting you should bring this up:
wa...It's interesting you should bring this up:

was wrong with setting an exact date

The lesson we taught the kids today in our Sunday school class was about this:

21 You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” 22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.

I didn't actually watch it, but does Mr. Wilkerson say God told him or is he just speculating?Alicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00380432930727921469noreply@blogger.com
