Looking through photos this morning, thought I'd post a few. The above was taken April 3, 2011 at the ferry going from Marine City to Canada. Too bad people had to drop their trash there :( Can you see the bits of snow and ice floating on the water? If you click on the picture, you can view the pics in this posting a bit larger (if you are like me and benefit from the larger images)
Also found some beautiful shots of trees:
the above 2 were taken of the same tree May 3, 2011, in Detroit, MI
about a half hour before I was to clock in for work that day :)
taken May 3, 2011
a couple of streets over from where the pink tree is in Detroit, MI
I took this one November 9, 2011 same area in Detroit, MI
(a few blocks from where I work)...
this (red brick) home on the corner looks empty/abandoned
the red tree is what inspired me to take some pictures that day (November 9, 2011)
I decided to stop that day before going in to work, since I had a few minutes to spare
I have many more pictures stored in my computer, but I have so much to get done today...maybe another day I'll post more of them.
Hi Susan,
ReplyDeleteI was just about to shut the computer for the day when I saw your post and these amazing pics. I just had to leave a comment and let you know I really enjoyed these. So beautiful!
Blessings,
<><
Hi Child of God,
DeleteThank you, what a coincidence, I visited your blog just prior to posting this :) I didn't leave a comment, but your posts always cause me to be prayerful and hopeful. Thank you for stopping by and your encouraging words. <3
decided to go back and leave a couple of comments...and praying with all my heart <3
DeleteThose trees are beautiful. The white ones look like they are leaning.
ReplyDeleteThey all seem to be leaning, including some that are not white (to the right of the sidewalk)...I wonder what happened?
DeleteIf you look at the first one (with the pink tree) the tree looks straight but the house looks crooked...it might be the photographer, lol...
DeleteI am reminded of how great it is to live in a place like the Midwest or New England where the leaves change color in the Fall. I'm not sure how much of a Fall they have here in Raleigh, but I'm guessing it's nothing like home. :(
ReplyDeleteDid you move to Raleigh (is it North Carolina?) recently? I hope you will post some pictures too :)
DeleteI love these pix! So exhausted from work that I actually felt like I was falling into those pictures, walking down the sidewalk chillin'. Don't know why, but I love sidewalks! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these!
Hi Petra,
DeleteI saw on your blog that you began a new job! How exciting! Hope it's going well for you.
I have a tiny camera. Even though I see the picture right after capturing I often still am surprised when I see them later. One day I hope to paint some of them. :)
