Isaiah_58:11 And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

Antisemitism and Shulamit Aloni
Shulamit Aloni is a former Israeli minister:
She says the labeling of antisemitism is a trick used to justify mistreatment of Palestinians. Whenever anyone challenges Israel of wrongdoing, they are reminded of the holocaust and accused of being an antisemite.
And a journalist received this death threat (recording on phone message machine):
I'm not even going to pretend to know all the answers about the problem. Of course the devil is behind it. Of course, Israel is not saved, and as of this time is still a nation of this world. Yes, there are special promises that God promised to Israel. I acknowledge that fact. I also acknowledge the fact that they are a nation of fallen people prone to error just as anyone else is. To cover up their errors and blindly support everything they do, is not being a "friend of Israel". It is no more being their friend to do so, than it would be kindly to support "a friend" with an alcohol or drug problem. We need to be honest, and honesty says we need to tell them the truth, that they are subject to sins and mistakes, and that they need to repent before a holy and forgiving God, Jesus, whom they have rejected.
Hi Susan, I could not have put it as well as you have, I get so tired of my Christian brothers' and sisters' rabid support of our own country and Israel,"right or wrong", they feel they are sinning if they don't and frown on anyone who doubts either.
Please be as gracious as you would like others to be to you. Thank you :)
Please try to keep your comments on the topic of the post you are commenting on.
If there is a link to an article or podcast, or if there is an embedded video please view these before airing your views on the posting. If you clearly did not watch video/read link I may choose to not respond to it ...particularly if you have a question that is already answered on link or video.
Opposing viewpoints are of course allowed here as long as the conversation remains civil. If it runs on and on and becomes burdensome and repetitive I will probably lock the comments on that posting. Thank you, I hope we can grow together in a true friendship as God would have it. 🙂
