Who Is George Soros?

George Soros is a multibillionaire who backed Barack Obama, and yet we rarely hear about him. When did the popular news/entertainment shows EVER talk about George Soros, one of the most powerful men in the world? I've never heard them ever mention his name. A little background on this "gentleman":
