Please be as gracious as you would like others to be to you. Thank you :)
Please try to keep your comments on the topic of the post you are commenting on.
If there is a link to an article or podcast, or if there is an embedded video please view these before airing your views on the posting. If you clearly did not watch video/read link I may choose to not respond to it ...particularly if you have a question that is already answered on link or video.
Opposing viewpoints are of course allowed here as long as the conversation remains civil. If it runs on and on and becomes burdensome and repetitive I will probably lock the comments on that posting. Thank you, I hope we can grow together in a true friendship as God would have it. 🙂
Somber.
ReplyDeleteThose look pretty somber, indeed. I like the tree in the last two.
Thanks, Ma. :)

But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Thank you, so true Natalie! And I think it may be a blessing that the flesh does fail, though it doesn't feel like it...because we do get trained by it to rely on the Lord. That is a beautiful verse! Thank you :o)
DeleteThe Lord Jesus Christ be with you and your friend in your emotional journeys. Real rest in Him alone. :)
ReplyDeleteRest in the Lord Jesus Christ as you and your friend weather this emotional journey. Much love to you sister in Him.
ReplyDeleteThanks Muse, I just don't know how anyone could do it without Him!!! I'm a mess and yet I have Him to lean on and trust that everything is ok...if I didn't I wouldn't be able to sustain and continue to go on...I'm thinking this is perhaps why some people take their own lives, because I think I probably would have by now if I didn't have that foundation and anchor, that love and knowing that there is more to this story than what I'm dealing with at this moment in time, and that it will one day all fall into that "bigger picture" that I'm unable to fully see at the present, just accept on faith that this is so because Jesus said so. :)
DeleteOh, I'm so wiped out right now....but it's going to be ok. :) Thank you for your encouragement. :)
Hope the post isn't showing up multiple times? Just saying God Bless you and your friend in your emotional journeys. Much love, Sister in Jesus. :) matermusearts.wordpress.com
ReplyDelete;) love you too :D
DeleteSometimes the somber moods slow us down a bit and we take time to think things through. May you always find Gods love for you at the end of your thoughts. The photos are reflective as well!
ReplyDeleteSo true, Connie, that is exactly what it feels like too, like I'm moving in slow motion and trying to process everything, SLOWLY... thank you, you hit the nail on the head :)
DeleteThe sky is overcast in the photos, but the scenes are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI know that things have been quite hard lately, so I won't say that I hope that everything is better soon; but, I will say that I hope that at least the situation with your co-workers improves soon. Also, I hope that you can take some time out for yourself soon, even if it's just to watch a comedy and relax for a few hours. I know that I mentioned this before, but my wife likes to look at Cute Overload when work is stressful. If you think that you might like pictures of cute animals, then I would recommend that you give it a try. It might with work stress, if nothing else.
Hi Leslie,
DeleteThe clouds do look lovely in the photo though they loom so gloomily. At the time (having just returned from a very emotionally draining week) it gave me such a foreboding feeling...anyway, what you bring up reminds me of what I was shown one day a few months ago, when I was feeling a bit gloomy and there were small gray clouds all over the sky, and I REALLY didn't want to go to work, when all of a sudden the sun shone so brightly behind the clouds that is sent an array of ribbons of light all over the sky which shone down to the ground from the spaces between the clouds. It then occurred to me that the gray and gloomy clouds made the glory of the sun behind it that much more beautiful...and then relating it to my gloominess and the Lord's goodness and glory, it made me realize that when the Lord is in my problems, His glory is revealed by them. :)
Thanks for the Cute Overload idea. Whenever anyone sends me emails with cute animals it always makes me smile. :)
I am glad to see that you are able to keep a positive attitude through so many trials. I hope that things have started to get better for you. Look at some more pictures of animals!
DeleteHow are you now. I missed this and hope your are in an better attitude. God bless you and I thank you for the comments on my blog. ( about my autistic son)
