Seducers and the Seduced

  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, 

deceiving, and being deceived. 

But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned 

and hast been assured of, 

knowing of whom thou hast learned them

We've been warned and see it happening all around us...please guard yourselves with the armour of God, be a wise virgin with enough oil in your lamps, and know that many will fall into the deception that is already taking hold more and more:

 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another,
and shall hate one another.
 And many false prophets shall rise,  
and shall deceive many. 
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.  

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 

 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations;

and then shall the end come.

.... Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Jesus also stated that it would be as the days of Noah were, not many were saved, the prevailing wisdom of the time was to ignore Noah's "silly warnings", after all the majority ruled so obviously those of the minority (Noah and his family) had to be wrong.  But God had the final say in the matter.
