Stepping Up "Security"

whenever I go to the airport they always make everyone take off their belt.

When I fly I avoid xray scanners, and take the groping instead. I work as a radiographer so I do not want to be exposed to extra radiation, thank you very much anyway.

Well, I thought it would come to this, it looks like soon we won't have a choice anymore:

So how safe are these scanners anyway? I keep hearing that these use such long waves at such low doses that they are "completely safe". Really? And consider the fact that when you go into the higher atmosphere during a flight, the amount of radiation people are exposed to is much higher than on the ground.

They play it off as so necessary for our protection and safety, really? They are humiliating us and saying they are "protecting our privacy"(link). Is that a joke? I'm not laughing.

Ok that just makes me less comfortable about using my cellphone. Sigh.

Riot Provocateurs

Watch this video carefully, and at the end they have still shots where they show why the real protestors knew these were police provocateurs.

This happened in Quebec August 2007.

This next one happened in Greece June 29, 2011.

Notice how the police take these fake "protestors" that have caused the commotion aside, but teargas and attack the real protestors that didn't cause the problems.

Well, ok, VERY NEW AGE-ISH, so forget the parts that talk about meditation and stuff, but I found that info about the poles shifting and the graph with earthquake frequency, and the map that showed how much of the arctic has melted since 1979 very interesting...

G20 Pennsylvania Riot

The following Youtube clip was taken at a protest rally:

Notice what the young man at the end says. He mentions something about "guys in bandannas" and that is also what the undercover police at the Toronto G20 wore.

There was a girl with a bike that threw her bike at the officers pushing her. The report covering this incident also mentions there were four businesses with windows broken out:

G20 Toronto Riot

When this "riot" took place in 2010 I watched alot of the video news clips and carefully watched what people said. I saw the chief of police state that the back up forces that showed up that weekend in riot gear, did not come in response to the "riot". He admitted that the increased police presence which came, had already been planned for weeks in advance. I also saw it reported that some of the actual protestors said that those who caused the "riot" came out of nowhere...one clip reported that a witness had stated the "protestors" that cause the damage etc, came out from under manhole covers in the street, where they had been hiding throughout the night prior to this incident...what "normal people" do that??? These were not run of the mill protestors. Now, I found that my suspicions regarding that whole situation was correct. It has come out that the "protestors" which caused the "riot" were actually police dressed as protestors:
