Pastor Joe: I believe that we need to respond to the homosexual agenda with Christ’s great commission. We need to speak the truth in love, and share with homosexuals, the same way we share with those who are caught up in other sins. I agree with Pastor Joe that this is no different than any other sin. I think for the most part many of those in this lifestyle know it isn't right, want to hide it, etc. Only God can grant them repentance, so I'm trying to love (but not condone) and pray.
ReplyDeleteI wonder about the agenda part. Granted there is a push to mainstream this as an accepted lifestyle, but the more I read some Christian's responses to it (and rock n' roll and all that), the more I get the us/them feeling. I have been wondering a lot if the whole conspiratorial view (which I do hold in a lot of ways) isn't distracting us- making us seem wise and discerning, while in some ways alienating us from the law of LOVE. I don't know that's just what it has seemed to do to me.
