Powerfully Saved

So much has been happening in the news lately, of course the much anticipated Supreme Court decision is being talked about everywhere, many on Facebook are altering their profile pictures to show their support of the same sex marriage decision...I was considering altering my profile picture on Facebook to have a Bible or a cross or perhaps an open tomb, but decided to keep my profile pic the way it is. I don't want to cause people to jump to conclusions from a picture before hearing me out, and it all seems like a childish "whose side is bigger" game to me. It doesn't matter what people (including Supreme court justices) decide or do, it is what God has done, does, and will do that matters most.

Looking around on youtube on the topic of LGBT I found a wonderful testimony by a former lesbian activist. She has many insights into the "lifestyle" and the LGBT movement, how they infiltrate, the truth about LGBT tactics, and the difficulties that plague those caught in this way of life from behind the scenes, and how the Lord saved her and changed her "ministry".

Charlene is not a pastor, but she does mention a woman pastor that spoke words of life to her. I hope you won't get sidetracked on the woman pastor issue.  True that the office of pastoral leadership should not be held by women, however I also know from scripture that God can even use a donkey to keep a person from heading for destruction.

Also she mentions that it was her choice to allow Jesus to save her, yet she mentions  that the Lord saved her when she was 12 years old...the Lord obviously had a plan for Charlene's life and He brought it to completion. It doesn't matter if we think we chose Him, what makes anything we do real or not is if God ignites and infuses His Spirit into whatever decisions we make. Many think man's power to decide is what saves us and of course we can do nothing unless the Lord first grants us the ability to see that choice and then give us His power to choose the right thing. She might be a bit confused about who chose whom, but I can see that she has been powerfully saved by the Lord truly intervening in her life.

This video is about 25  minutes in length. Please have a very uplifting and inspirational coffee break time out with Charlene:

In Response to Anything Goes Sexuality

Now that EVERYONE is "coming out", there is a group in the UK which comes together as a support group, and a very "politically incorrect" group it is. Here is an excerpt from "Christianity" magazine:

After Steve Chalke and Rob Bell affirmed same-sex relationships earlier this year, Justin Brierley meets three evangelical church leaders who have decided to respond by going public about their sexuality.

In a basement under a church in London I’m meeting with three men who are in a support group. An unusual support group. ‘We were tempted to say that we meet in a nuclear bunker in an undisclosed location,’ says one of them with a wry smile.
They have been talking in private for a while, but believe now is the time for their voices and unique experience to be heard more widely. All three are evangelical church leaders who experience same-sex attraction, but all three describe themselves as either celibate or ‘post-gay’.
Earlier this year, Steve Chalke revealed a new (and much publicised) gay-affirming stance in February’s Christianity. Since then another well-known Christian figure, Rob Bell, has spoken out in favour of gay relationships. A recent poll by the Public Religious Research Institute in the USA showed that nearly half of young evangelicals there are in favour of gay marriage. If the headlines are to be believed, the Church is increasingly following society’s lead in affirming gay relationships.
None of the three men I’m speaking to claim to have the influence of Chalke or Bell, but they are hoping to redress the perceived liberalisation within the Church on this issue by speaking from their own countercultural experience. For two of them, same-sex attraction has been met with a commitment to remain celibate, while one of them experienced a change in his feelings that led to marriage with a woman. All three see the Bible’s prohibitions on same-sex relationships as nonnegotiable.

DOMA Decision

I cannot even begin to express how sickened I feel by the Supreme Court decision on the Defense of Marriage Act. I know I shouldn't be surprised, and yet I still am, and truth be told I am horrified. Dr. James White had a few words to say a few months ago which I find fitting. We are living in perilous times, no doubt about it. I hope and pray that "the church" wakes up. We need to be praying for our nation, praying for repentance and praying for the church to valiantly proclaim the truth in a world that hates the truth.

Gay Pride Week

This week was "Gay Pride Week", and it began last Sunday, which coincidentally was Pentacost, the anniversary of the birth of the Church. I don't believe in coincidences, actually. I believe that there are people who deliberately chose Pentacost as the day to begin "Gay Pride Week". Pride is the wickedest of sins because it blinds us from seeing how truly repulsive our sins are before a holy God. God hates pride. So to have pride in behaving in truly abominable perversion and to openly and brazenly throw it in God's face on Pentacost is truly hateful as well as stupid. Do you think our nation deserves a spanking for such things? Do you think any of us are "innocent", truly? We all need forgiveness on a daily basis. Pride has no place in any of our lives, for anything that we do, unless our pride is in what Jesus does, and then it isn't really pride, it is thankful humility that does not need parading.

Tomorrow (Saturday) is Gay Day at Disney World in Orlando Florida. I pray that God will prick hearts tomorrow toward truly repenting and sorrowing over all sins being flaunted in His face. I pray for the courage and strength and conviction needed to speak up as God gives me wisdom.

For A Mess of Pottage?

Genesis 25:29-34

Matthew 4:1-10

The theme pops in on me at odd moments....not that I have an urge to sell my soul or anything (actually I'm counting on the grace of God on this one, because left up to myself I have a feeling I'd blow it...because when it comes down to the truth of the matter, I cannot do anything right without Jesus' help). Anyway, we've all heard about this, haven't we?

 Matthew 16:26

I was talking with my boss at work today, and we got on the topics of what we see in this world today, and on discernment and the lack of it today, and the MOB (and some other related and equally disturbing topics), and it brought me back to thinking on that theme. Is it possible to "sell your soul to the devil"? I personally believe it is possible to do so, and that many have done so.

Today I heard that our nation will begin performing gay marriage ceremonies at the national cathedral in Washington D.C. I am hearing the death knell of our nation loud and clear. It has clearly sold it's soul to the devil. :(

John Piper

I really love John Piper :)

In this clip, John Piper explains why he believes homosexuality is wrong. I like when he admits his own brokenness by saying: "I'm just wired to like certain sins alot"

Just because we may have a genetic predisposition toward a certain sin (such as alcoholism, or a bad temper/prone to violent behavior, homosexual cravings, etc) doesn't make it excusable, but it is forgivable.

Well I should let John Piper say what he has to say, since this blog entry is supposed to be about what he thinks about this:

In this next one he tackles a very difficult question, and I find myself in complete agreement with his thoughts on whether he thinks Jesus was tempted with homosexuality:

And then also there is a very terrific article on the topic of hatred (which I find very well written and balanced, gcmwatch is correct to point out that "we live in a world system that misunderstands and misapplies hate primarily because they misunderstand God and his word",  & another excerpt:

"We know homosexuality is a false way because God did not create the male and female and tell them to find someone of the same gender and have sex with them. That simply does not exist. Thus, all sexual activities that are outside of what God commanded and blessed are false ways and false roads. We know where a false road leads to.  And we have liberty to hate them as he does.
Yet, we must be careful that our hate is not prejudicial or motivated by personal vendettas apart from God. The scriptures are clear on that.
Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15
Such hatred is malicious and does not reflect the divine nature rather it reflects the nature of satan. John frames his words with the story of Cain and Abel who represent humanity.
Hating the deeds of the sinner is well within the realm of our biblical responsibilities. It is not a sin. If it was then Jesus himself sinned. In Revelation 2:6, he praised the church at Ephesus for “hating the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I hate also”."

The Kinsey Effect

********************************************************************
Edit:
I personally think that many who would be afraid to watch the video in this post might need to sit down after being prayed up, and watch it all the way through. Yes, it's ugly. Yes it is a big ugly pill to swallow, but necessary to see it, the lies we're being told, and the full ugliness of those lies, and why we now have so many rapists and child molesters and perverts and violence on the increase, etc, and that these crimes are on the increase, not declining like they want us to believe. They know how to "cook the books" to make it appear like things are getting better, when they are not. I too was guilty of allowing myself to be lulled into their complacency, their lies of "it's good to teach children about sex" and "don't be so judgmental about it, it isn't THAT bad, what people do in their private lives is THEIR business, not ours"....well take an honest look at how this stuff "isn't hurting anyone". It IS hurting alot of people, many of them children. Please pray, and then please do watch it, it is very important that we get outraged and truly grieved in our spirits about what is going on.
********************************************************************

I was thinking about the problems of sexual deviancy after talking with Leslie in the comments section of this post.

Leslie stated:
"... So, they taught that the fall made Adam and Eve and all their descendants much more prone to sin. Of course, this didn't mean - and in fact it could not mean - that Adam and Eve were originally incapable of sin. But it did mean for Calvin and others that they were far less prone to sin, as their faculties were in much better shape. I think that there is a lot of philosophical support for this reading. But, much more importantly, and as Calvin and others realize, this does seem to be exactly what Scripture itself teaches. The Bible clearly teaches that man was severely corrupted after the fall and more prone to sin. This means that Adam and Eve were originally less corrupted, but the Bible also makes it clear that Adam and Eve were not perfect and utterly immune to sin."

My reply:
"Reading through what you state above makes much sense to me. I do agree that Adam and Eve did change after "the fall" and were much more prone to sinning, which was the reason they were from that point guarded from the tree of life. Wouldn't it be terrible to live eternally but to keep degenerating more and more (physically, morally, spiritually), as we see happening in each successive generation, and that with no end in sight? So it was God's mercy (again) which we perceive as punishment.

Likewise Paul in the book of Romans reveals how rejecting God leads to getting more and more perverse things that stem from being in rebellion to God...which we all were, but Jesus provides His mercy and grace and His Spirit, to bring us out of this treacherous place to the place He is preparing for us. We do not have to be consigned to eternity of getting worse and worse, because Jesus is the doorway out of that terrible curse."

But I think there is a terribleness to the kind of sin spoken of in the following video, and although all sin is offensive in God's eyes, Jesus did make a point of saying:

Luk_17:2  It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

WARNING This video is really disturbing
...it has information on the beginnings of what is called "The Sexual Revolution" and also is what formed the basis for today's sex education for children. Please pray before watching this, it has extremely horrifying and terrible information about what is being done to our nation's children based on the Kinsey Reports, and what we are shown about Kinsey in this video is that he was a sadomasochistic pedophile, and he determined what was normal for children and why children needed to be exposed to sexual information at a young age, the younger the better.

Almost 3 hours long... I haven't finished it yet...will add my thoughts later:

Wow....the material and documented evidence that is brought up in this is so offensive and highly disturbing, it grieves me to think of all the terrible things that were done to the children that Kinsey used to support his twisted theories. I finished half of this documentary, and truly am ill, I'll try to finish it later...not sure, it has given me a horrible headache. An interesting fact regarding this Kinsey stuff is that Kinsey's first book on his American male research came out in 1948, the same year that Israel declared itself a nation. Not sure if that means anything but many people do attach spiritual significance to that year.

Sometimes I do believe we are very close to the time of the Lord Jesus' returning when I see a film like the one above, which brings to mind this verse:

2Ti 3:13  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Be sure to check out the way a Christian aught to respond to a homosexual  in a related post.

Homosexual Agenda: What is a Christian to do?

Was thinking on this topic today, and found these articles that I think are helpful (click on the embedded links to read them in their entirety) :

Shofarsound: You believe that homosexuality and satanism have a direct link. Tell me about that.
Pastor Joe: In my estimation that would be the most notorious Satanist of the last century, Aleister Crowley (1875-1947). [Crowley died just three years before organized homosexual activism took root in America]. Crowley stated that he had gone over to “Satan’s side” and wanted to become Satan’s chief of staff. Crowley was a bisexual, and his “Abbey of Thelema” or sex temple in Italy was found to have biographical graffiti, depicting orgies that included little children.  We document this from is own admirers in our documentary, The Kinsey Syndrome. He influenced the sexual revolutionary thought processes of everyone from Alfred Kinsey to Harry Hay. It is important to know that Crowley’s end goal was the ushering in of the age of Horus and the coming Antichrist, the man of sin.  He literally signed his name “The Beast 666.”
 (Read article here )

...and this one

excerpt:
how should the Church respond to the homosexual agenda?

Pastor Joe: I believe that we need to respond to the homosexual agenda with Christ’s great commission. We need to speak the truth in love, and share with homosexuals, the same way we share with those who are caught up in other sins.  We need to approach those who have been deceived by the leaders of the homosexual agenda, in a spirit of humility, remembering that we too were enslaved to one vice or another, whether it was homosexuality or a myriad of other sins.  We need to remember that we are saved by God’s great grace and that God impartially extends this grace to all of humanity (Titus 2:11-13). We need to remember Paul’s Holy Spirit inspired words when he instructed us to:

“…. always to be gentle toward everyone. At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3:2b-5).

Do Dreams Mean Anything? Part 2

Ok, this is just....too coincidental, that I would be drawn to read about this on Velvet's blog... I read the vigilant citizen article many months ago, but what Velvet said about influences and  spiritual warfare is EXACTLY what my dream was saying to me in my spirit...that there are spiritual forces at work seducing us and manipulating us through fearing the consequences if we don't go along with their agenda! I know some of us don't fall for it...but many are falling for it...and I have to humbly admit that I did fall for it for many years, giving in to what deep down I knew was wrong, so the "cool people" would also think that I was one of them. That is exactly it, what I tried (and kinda couldn't find the right words) to say yesterday.  What the dream was about was all this junk, the abortion/murder industry, the homosexual perversion agenda, and ecumenical stuff about everyone banding together on the "love train" which is anything but loving...it is sinister, it is evil, it is hardening people and making them more and more hateful and prideful and against anything holy and pure....it is poisoning people's spirits by choosing to take the easy way out of wanting to "get along" with the majority, with the "cool people" and not wanting to appear to be a nerd, or worse, an ignorant fool (that "they" want to paint born again Christians to be). Out of that fear many just join up with the evil agendas, so they won't look stupid....joining with the stupid so they themselves won't look stupid... Everyone is joining everyone else by saying "Yes, don't the emperor's clothes look marvelous" because they don't want to be different and dumb-looking by pointing out the obvious...the emperor is NAKED, and blind and dumb....and oh so wrong!!! If I say it, I will be different, and will look funny to others, and they will call me names and think I'm stupid....vanity.

So what if they think I'm stupid, if they are the ones that have given in to stupidity such as that?

American Family Association's Comments part 2

Yesterday I posted about the AFA's comments regarding Chaz Bono and her bad choices, and how her bad choices are being flaunted on nationwide television in a celebratory fashion, and that we should keep our children from being traumatized by her "lifestyle".

Although I agree with the AFA that Cher's daughter Chastity has made some terrible choices, pointing them out the way the AFA chose to do it, with the support of the Fox TV channel, seemed to me to come from the wrong place. They stated that children would be confused and swayed while going through the formative years of discovering their own sexuality, and that it might cause damage to young children to view such a perverse person being idolized for their "couragious" transformation through "gender reasignment". Yeah, ok, I admit it...I also have some genuine problems with what is going on with all of this celebration of perversion. But there is a right way and a wrong way of addressing the issue, isn't there? Saying that we should protect ourselves and our children from these spiritual lepers comes from a fearful disposition that is afraid of catching the sin disease. I have news for everyone, we are already seriously infected, and the infection is terminal....at least for the mortal part of our lifespan. We all will die because we all have sinned and have been born into sin.

1John chapter 4 tells us that perfect love casts out all fear. Do we believe that? Do Evangelical Christians really believe that? Is that what the American Family Association is emulating by how they address the Chastity Bono problem? Did they confess their own sin nature before casting a stone in Chastity's direction?

The sin we see all around us these days is terrible, to be sure. However, Jesus promised us His protection for our families if we trust Him. If we don't trust Him to complete the job that He promised HE WOULD COMPLETE, no amount of boycotting and fear-filled proclamations will help us.

As I think on these things, the parable of the good Samaritan comes to my mind. Here is one who is despised by the "good and respectable" people of Israel, yet he proves himself to be a better person in God's eyes, by helping someone who was beaten by robbers and left for dead on the side of the road. A priest and a Levite passed by without offering any assistance, but this Samaritan who Jews found to be contemptible, shows that even though he is the least, he proves himself the greatest. He didn't hold his nose and pretend not to see this poor man. He stopped and poured oil in his wounds. Then he took him to an inn and paid for him to be taken care of until he was well. Then, he even goes further than that, promising the innkeeper that if the costs exceed what he has paid him, that he will reimburse him the next time he comes through town. How many of us would be the good Samaritan? How many of us would be the priest or the Levite? To my shame I confess that I am that priest and that Levite. Likewise are the American Family Association also in that proud group of failures. Yes, what Chastity has done is a result of her sin nature. Chastity is that damaged soul beaten by the robbers who have damaged her and left her hurt and dying. Do we add to her pain? Or do we love her and tell her that in spite of her damage, we care about her and hope a good outcome for her?

We need to remember where we came from, and to remember also that when we ridicule someone else for their sin, we stand in danger of falling back into it because we then lay ourselves wide open to the enemy. He uses our fear and our pride against us like a snare. We must cry over the sins that ensnare others in a manner that will bring conviction and repentance. It is true that some may never come to repent, and that is fine, God can handle that one too. Romans 8:28 is ever present to remind me of just how great a God we have.

As an interesting addendum please read about this study that put this parable to the test among "good Christian college students":

http://epiphenom.fieldofscience.com/2011/04/not-so-good-samaritan.html
Thankfully, we are not saved by our good works, or none of us would make it... but this should still make us very sad :-( God sees us and our shortcomings better than our enemies do, and yes He shows us compassion...so shouldn't we also likewise have that same mind that is in Christ for those who are sinners....just like us?

American Family Association's Comments

The AFA has come out to say that families should not let young children watch dwts because Chaz Bono will confuse the younguns. Children are still forming their identities and can become confused about gender manipulation and the propaganda that is being forced upon us.

WARNING:
He does talk about some specifics about what kinds of mutilations are performed on transgender folks like Chaz, so be warned, not for the squeemish.

ABC News has stated that the AFA is a hate group and asked Chaz whether she feels threatened or whether she will leave the show because of what people say. She said she would stay as long as people keep voting for her and stay as long as she can. She said she's good at tuning stuff out. Is she good at "tuning out" the Holy Spirit?

There are some (many?) even amongst those who call themselves Christians who would say it is mean to speak the truth about this. I say it is meaner not to speak the truth about this. We need to remain honest, even when it doesn't win us popularity contests, and might one day get us killed. The truth needs to be told, and we need to continue to speak about the unpopular and true and not say that we like the emperor's new clothes when the emperor is in fact naked.

What is "Ideal"?

Last week was a very difficult week for me, for various reasons. One of the reasons involved the subject material I had to study for my college courses. I knew when I took "Sociology 1010" that I would get into stuff that I would disagree with, that was a given. I guess I was a bit naif, however, about just how much I would disagree with it. One of our discussion topics asked the question: Do you agree with the Functionalist view that the "nuclear family" (husband and wife living together, husband as bread winner and wife at home caring for children) should still be the ideal given today's economic and social conditions? As you can imagine, 90% of the class said that the Functionalist "nuclear family" is outdated and no longer the ideal. And as you can also imagine, I was one of 2 dissenting voices...well actually I was shocked that someone else was first in saying that she thought that the "nuclear family" is the best format for raising healthy and well adjusted children. Some of the others said that mothers must work outside of the home to make ends meet, and how boring it is to "stay home with the kids" and that "I just couldn't do that"....and that it's perfectly ok to be a homosexual "family"....sigh....
....and I could hear the infamous Rodney King's voice ringing in my head: "Can't we all just get along???"

Yeah, well, I guess that we all wish we could always "get along" without putting up an argument about every little thing, sigh. But being salt and light also means telling why we believe what we believe, especially when we are the lone dissenting voice, that "voice in the wilderness".

So I talked about what an "ideal" is. I talked about why the "nuclear family" IS the only perfect model, even if none of us could attain to this ideal, that the nature of an ideal is to be a model for the perfection to strive for. I talked about why not one of us would ever fly on a plane that was piloted by a pilot who took a "How to fly an airplane for dummies" class, because he needed to "do it the right way" or I'm not getting on that plane... and how is that any different when it comes to our families and our children? Shouldn't we strive for that perfect model to protect and raise our children right?

So when it came time at the end of the week to turn in my "Reflections" assignment for the week (an assignment in which I had to answer a few questions about what I learned that week) this is what I wrote:

What did you think about, feel and visualize while participating in this session?

What I thought about during this week's lessons is that the curriculum/textbook is pretty slanted towards making the feminist and conflict theorists agendas the “more correct” position, than the traditional point of view. Statements such as:
“Sexual control, in the form of enforced female monogamy ensured that his ( the husband's) property would be transmitted only to his offspring. Engels conluded that only the elimination of private property and the creation of economic equality, in a word, communism, could bring an end to gender inequality and the traditional nuclear family.” (page 301)
I understand that the text tries to portray a “neutral” position by saying that communism isn't the answer to ending gender inequality, HOWEVER, most of the text supports things like abortion, divorce, daycare and other services to take over the duties of parenting, etc, so that the “neutral position” is really not credible when compared to what I actually read throughout the rest of the text.
What attitudes, skills and concepts have you gained from participating in this session?
What I have learned has only strengthened and reinforced my already established thoughts on these matters, however, it deepened it with further understanding of what the issues are, and how the numbers get skewed to support an argument. I have found several computational errors, such as when the authors take information from a graph and incorporate it into their assertions within the text. An example of such an error is on page 320 where it asserts that the poverty rate of a two parent family in Sweden is 1/10 that of the US rate when according to table 11.5 it is 1/5 when computed out. Another example is where the text says that Native American test takers comprise 43% of the national average representation of the US population as a whole, is not what table 12.2 says at all. It gives the actual percentage to be 143% (yes, one hundred and forty-three percent!!) when compared with the national representation of Native Americans. (page 349). This type of skewing of the facts is inexcusable. Who checks their figures??? Terrible disinformation, in my opinion. How can I truly trust the rest of the “facts” that are given by these persons who have an obvious agenda?

What did you know before; What did you want to know, and what did you learn this session?

I learned that there truly is an agenda to destroy the nuclear family, and to set up “whatever feels good” as an adequate alternative to a true ideal. It takes away the meaning of the word ideal, which is a high expectation, and a symbol of something that is perfect and very difficult if not impossible to attain to. The ideal is what would be the most effective and highest and best way, a highest benchmark to strive for. If it is changed to “whatever”, it is not actually a true “ideal”. The fact that even homosexual partners often have a more feminine and more masculine partner in the relationship itself reveals that  subconsciously they still desire this ideal, although they try to go against the grain by attacking the nuclear family model in their rejection of it and their perversion of how they choose to alter the design. This concept of “ideal” goes much further than I realized before, and is actually an anchor and a source of stability that is being removed by the rejection of it. By replacing it with other “ideals” the government can become more of a “parent” in how it is taking over the raising of our children. It can indoctrinate them into socialization policies which fit in with their globalist agenda, and take away more of the role of what used to be under the control and leadership of the nuclear family and the church. I see this more clearly than I ever did before. I had a vague sense of it before, and thought that some might have been overreacting to the facts of this agenda being carried out. Now I know that they were not overreacting, but that I was under-reacting and not understanding the problem at all.

What did you learn in this session that you won't forget tomorrow?

I was really depressed as I was reading much of the information of the last two chapters, and I do understand that we will continue on this perilous path, and it makes me a little sick thinking about it. I learned that I need to keep my eyes wide open to see what will happen next. I honestly do not believe that I can halt the serious decline that we are in. I do believe that I have to be in prayer about it. I see the feminists and the conflict theorists mostly made up of atheists who want to get “religion” out of their face, for the most part. That would require that it be relegated solely to the area of private spirituality and which has nothing to do with education, or any other public contacts and day to day functioning within our society. It actually makes it more of a myth or private hallucination of sorts, this way, which is what atheists believe Christianity to be. A Christian's spirituality actually does involve every facet of his or her life. It is the air we breath, and everything we do or say is touched by the fact that it is based on our spirituality. Atheists want to believe that belief in a “god” is whatever a person wants it to be. A Christian is aware that God is what He is no matter what each individual privately wants to say He is or is not. God is much greater than all of the misinformation we can concoct about Him. The fact that there are those of us who strive to understand what is that which placed in us the ability to be moral, and ethical, and spiritual, and that there are those that wish to squelch any reference to the Author of our morals and ethics, tells me more about the truth of Him than anything else, in my estimation. I see the lines being drawn, and as page 343 of our textbook states that “the two contradictory social processes of secularization and revival are likely to persist for some time to come, resulting in a world that is neither more religious nor more secular, but one that is certainly more polarized.” I certainly agree with that statement, and wherever that truth takes us, I pray that I will be ready to face the consequences of that fact.

What was the most significant factor in how you learned?

This week, the fact that I saw that my position was in the small minority actually gave me a feeling of strength. It helped me to see that it is always good to state the truth, especially when in the minority. Just because the majority says something doesn't automatically make it true, and I sometimes feel intimidated to go against popular opinion. This week I grew, in that I spoke as my conscience directed me, and I felt stronger for it.

Gay Marriage Legalized for New York

New York Governor Signs Law Approving Gay Marriage

(Reuters) - Governor Andrew Cuomo made same-sex marriages legal in New York on Friday, a key victory for gay rights ahead of the 2012 presidential and congressional elections.

Sodom and Gomorrah: (had to remove the picture, whenever I came to do something on this blog I kept seeing it, and it was really getting me down so it had to go....but I'm praying for all those lost souls and hope that they realize what a terrible mistake they are making before it's too late)

Christian Persecution

In the New Mexico case, Judge Alan Malott ordered Elane Photography, run by a Christian husband and wife, to pay two lesbians some $6,600 for refusing to take photographs at a "wedding" for Vanessa Willock and Misty Pasconttini, even though the state didn't recognize the "marriage."

The article does not mention how many people participated in their polling on this issue. It does mention that those under 40 were much more likely to accept homosexual unions than those over 40. That says alot to me. Times truly are changing, and the next generation is in peril. They have been getting brainwashed, and the brainwashing apparently is working.

Lady Gaga often uses men that are dressed in militant homosexual sadomassochistic costumes.

A quote from Vigilant Citizen about Lady Gaga's music video "Alejandro":

The inverted cross, placed on Gaga’s crotch, becomes a phallic symbol. Superimposed and combined with her female genitals, the theme of androgyny becomes prevalent. In occult circles, the alchemical transformation of the spiritual matter, the Great Work, must unite both opposing energies.

I truly believe we are in the last days. Some (many?) Christians think we can vote our way back to a more Christlike morality. I disagree. I do believe we need to observe what times we live in. It is so easy to rationalize it away and pretend "it isn't so", but it is. We need to be in prayer. It will get alot worse for those who oppose "the new morality".

BUT:
Philippians 4:6-7 (nkjv) "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
