Be warned that this is a very disturbing video; do not watch it if you have a weak stomach for the ugly things that are going on in this world... however, the value I see in knowing about this is that we can get too complacent about the awful things that are happening, we need to be awake and aware of what is going on, and to stand strong against all of the evil in this world. I too become complacent at times and think that this world "isn't that bad"...however, the truth is there is much that is wrong with this world and our hearts need to be broken about it, Jesus wept over Jerusalem for their unbelief. How much more should we be in tears about the evil and unbelief that is our current situation. God help us!

Can a Truly Saved Person Fall Away? Part 3

This has to do with the falling away of a person by means of mixing truth with untruth. This person truly believes he or she was saved but now gives in to doctrines of demons who mix truth with lies. This was the devil's trick from the beginning, wasn't it? He got Eve to believe his trickery and caused her to believe him over God the true Creator, making her think his ideas and temptation was more fair, more in line with what she truly deserved. And what did it lead to? It led to her and her husband's undoing.

Self Righteousness vs. God's Righteousness

Self righteousness can take many forms. The devil is a crafty shape-shifter who can even disguise himself as "an angel of light". I've been thinking about the many shapes that self righteousness can take, and I can tell you that I've been guilty of these (and continue to be, God alone is righteous, and anyone who says otherwise is a lying Pharisee, to be honest). Here are a few examples:



1. Phariseeism:

This form says "look at me! I am righteous! Look at the good that I do! I even mention God's name once in a while and give my tithes, that proves I am holy. And I pray too!"

 Phariseeism is also in all of the subsequent examples, just disguised so it is harder to detect. We are all guilty of these things, better to confess it and ask the Lord to help us not continue in such false worship and idolatry.


2. Mother Theresa:

 "I am so humble and much better than I used to be" 
(she didn't actually say this---that I know of---but her life brought much attention to her "goodness")

still putting attention on self, not actually on the Lord, and then throwing Him some crumbs by saying "God made me this humble and wonderful and etc". This is a tough one. The first one is obviously wrong and very easy to point out. This second one is one we can even fool ourselves with, while we fool others in this self directing tactic. It still makes self worship the ultimate goal (although we continue to convince everyone around us that isn't true). We want others to agree how good, talented, humble, qualified, encouraging, "loving", etc, we are, instead of attributing all that to only God, and if it (goodness) appears in us at all in actual truth, it is only because He is in us, and has put it there, no credit to be had for ourselves at all, not even the "awe shucks" false humility.

3. Benny Hinn:

"God gave me a gift that is different from your gift, why judge me? I am doing great things too! God loves me just as much as you so get the beam out of your own eye before jabbing my eyes for my splinters" 
(Benny Hinn did accuse those with logs in their eyes looking for the tiny splinters in his own, perhaps not these exact words, but very very close).  

Benny teaches false doctrines and has false "healings" and fake "Holy Spirit" revivals, but hey, who are you to judge??? Jesus in His word says He wants us to use correct judgment, and when things are wrong the Bible says we are to EXPOSE THEM.
Eph 5:9  (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
Eph 5:10  Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
Eph 5:11  And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
This speaks of the fruit of the Spirit, which is of God, not ourselves, and nothing to get ourselves thinking we are the one who is "good". Jesus Himself said only God is good and every man is a liar. True words. We need Him every day and that is no boast.

4. The Pope:

"I am in charge because God gave me this responsibility. I have to look good because others need to have my good example"
 (again, no pope has ever said this---to my knowledge---except maybe in secret) 

The pope seems like a nice guy, and "since Jesus isn't here in the flesh anymore" these guys want us to believe that we need a person in that spiritual leadership role to guide the sheep. There are also pastors who have this same mistaken identity problem as the pope. Jesus is still here with us. We do not call any man our "father" in the spiritual sense. We have one mediator and that is Jesus, and we have the Holy Spirit which bears witness to Him (Jesus) alone.

5. Beth Moore:

"I am a good Christian and good wife and mother and I only teach to women, although men come to my classes, but I don't tell them to come and I can't keep them out if they want to be with wonderful little ole' me and I do all this because I LOVE Jesus SO MUCH!!!"  
(definitely a paraphrase of what I have seen Beth Moore say, she has said all those things, not all in one sentence)

There are many Beth Moores and I also lapse into this hideousness wrapped up in lovely country silliness that self-deprecates into "I'm just a silly beautiful blonde and can be silly about how I love the Lord". It is still all about self. If you go to her website, Beth Moore's name is emblazoned upon it in huge script with her beautifully made up face smiling down on you. Her doctrine is mostly self help for women. Once in a blue moon she will mention the name of Jesus to give the impression that it really is all about Him although really it's all about Beth Moore. She is "SO SWEET"...and her doctrine? She buys into the meditation stuff that comes straight out of New Age mysticism, emptying yourself hogwash. Sigh. And her followers are, just that "her" followers, and will attack you and call you a gossip if you say anything "bad" about her.  Fluff and nonsense.

J.K. Rowling:

"I am not a witch. I am a Christian and a writer who just writes good fiction. Fundamentalists are stupid"
  (I have seen J.K. Rowling say these things in defense of her satanic books that are filled with witchcraft and which is turning many young people to desire to participate in witchcraft)

This lady claims to be a Christian, but otherwise there is absolutely no evidence for that supposed fact in the writings she has made millions from. Likewise there are many churches that claim the name of Jesus that are buying her books and even making Bible lessons out of some of her teachings. They claim to know Jesus well enough that teaching from satanic books is ok with Him, because, after all, Jesus is a loving God, and these books teach about "good and evil", which is exactly what Jesus teaches us about.

All of the above examples prove that we need correct doctrine. I myself am guilty of lapsing into any of the above false positions at any given time. It is by the grace of God that I am saved, not through my "goodness" (which would give a false impression). That is why it is important to state that truth often, to remind others as well as myself of the truth of the fact. God alone is good, God alone gets the praise, God alone and no other.

 Rom 15:17  I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.
Rom 15:18  For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,
Rom 15:19  Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.



Jesus alone gets the glory. If others want to say I am "good" I correct them and tell them I am not, but that God in His mercy decided to save me anyway.  That is the gospel, that though we were yet sinners God loved us and saved us from our sins. Where is the boasting? And we need to tell the truth, which inevitably exposes the liars.

Doctrine is important, and it is very loving to tell the truth about the matter, rightly exposing the error and rightly confessing that we ourselves are prone to errors, and apart from God are nothing. No fake humility. No cutesy "Shucks I know I'm cute and it's all about me, and isn't Jesus wonderful" . It's all about Jesus. Let's not give Him lipservice and then get others to agree with such behavior. Let's tell the real honest to God truth instead.

The truth is we are all sinners, and God forgives repentant sinners of which I am chief.

The theme pops in on me at odd moments....not that I have an urge to sell my soul or anything (actually I'm counting on the grace of God on this one, because left up to myself I have a feeling I'd blow it...because when it comes down to the truth of the matter, I cannot do anything right without Jesus' help). Anyway, we've all heard about this, haven't we?

I was talking with my boss at work today, and we got on the topics of what we see in this world today, and on discernment and the lack of it today, and the MOB (and some other related and equally disturbing topics), and it brought me back to thinking on that theme. Is it possible to "sell your soul to the devil"? I personally believe it is possible to do so, and that many have done so.



Today I heard that our nation will begin performing gay marriage ceremonies at the national cathedral in Washington D.C. I am hearing the death knell of our nation loud and clear. It has clearly sold it's soul to the devil. :(

Halloween

I am no fan of Halloween, but simultaneously I do not feel called to stand on a soapbox to denounce it either. I feel led to live my life as quietly as possible in thanksgiving to God. I have always struggled with whether I should still hand out candy even though I personally believe it is something I should not be involved in...but I live in an apartment complex and previous years here we have been rather untrafficked by little Halloweeners (Halloweenites?) . I think they tend to go to the neighborhoods where they think they will reap the most candy, which I suppose isn't here. It does help me with my avoidance of this issue of what to do or not do regarding this thing. If any Halloweeners do happen to show up, I have fiber/nutrition bars available to hand out. At least I can try to make it a bit healthier than a Snicker's bar. I have also seen it advocated to put Christian tracts into the little gremlins and witches bags. I'm not sure if that falls into the category of casting pearls to swine, because I'm certain the little "darlings" won't appreciate getting jipped out of some great treats...

What will you be doing for Halloween? What about "All Saints Day"? I have a friend whose birthday falls on "All Saints Day" (November 1st). I do say "Happy All Saints Day" at least a couple of times on November 1st and it usually gets a puzzled look in response.

 I personally think that many who would be afraid to watch the video in this post might need to sit down after being prayed up, and watch it all the way through. Yes, it's ugly. Yes it is a big ugly pill to swallow, but necessary to see it, the lies we're being told, and the full ugliness of those lies, and why we now have so many rapists and child molesters and perverts and violence on the increase, etc, and that these crimes are on the increase, not declining like they want us to believe. They know how to "cook the books" to make it appear like things are getting better, when they are not. I too was guilty of allowing myself to be lulled into their complacency, their lies of "it's good to teach children about sex" and "don't be so judgmental about it, it isn't THAT bad, what people do in their private lives is THEIR business, not ours"....well take an honest look at how this stuff "isn't hurting anyone". It IS hurting alot of people, many of them children. Please pray, and then please do watch it, it is very important that we get outraged and truly grieved in our spirits about what is going on.

I was thinking about the problems of sexual deviancy after talking with Leslie in the comments section of this post.

Leslie stated:

My reply:
"Reading through what you state above makes much sense to me. I do agree that Adam and Eve did change after "the fall" and were much more prone to sinning, which was the reason they were from that point guarded from the tree of life. Wouldn't it be terrible to live eternally but to keep degenerating more and more (physically, morally, spiritually), as we see happening in each successive generation, and that with no end in sight? So it was God's mercy (again) which we perceive as punishment.


 Likewise Paul in the book of Romans reveals how rejecting God leads to getting more and more perverse things that stem from being in rebellion to God...which we all were, but Jesus provides His mercy and grace and His Spirit, to bring us out of this treacherous place to the place He is preparing for us. We do not have to be consigned to eternity of getting worse and worse, because Jesus is the doorway out of that terrible curse."

But I think there is a terribleness to the kind of sin spoken of in the following video, and although all sin is offensive in God's eyes, Jesus did make a point of saying:



Luk_17:2  It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
 

WARNING This video is really disturbing 
...it has information on the beginnings of what is called "The Sexual Revolution" and also is what formed the basis for today's sex education for children. Please pray before watching this, it has extremely horrifying and terrible information about what is being done to our nation's children based on the Kinsey Reports, and what we are shown about Kinsey in this video is that he was a sadomasochistic pedophile, and he determined what was normal for children and why children needed to be exposed to sexual information at a young age, the younger the better.

Almost 3 hours long... I haven't finished it yet...will add my thoughts later:

Wow....the material and documented evidence that is brought up in this is so offensive and highly disturbing, it grieves me to think of all the terrible things that were done to the children that Kinsey used to support his twisted theories. I finished half of this documentary, and truly am ill, I'll try to finish it later...not sure, it has given me a horrible headache. An interesting fact regarding this Kinsey stuff is that Kinsey's first book on his American male research came out in 1948, the same year that Israel declared itself a nation. Not sure if that means anything but many people do attach spiritual significance to that year.

Sometimes I do believe we are very close to the time of the Lord Jesus' returning when I see a film like the one above, which brings to mind this verse:

 2Ti 3:13  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Wisdom and Foolishness

 This "Know Your Enemy" series is tying up so many loose ends for me, giving more of the evidence for things that I suspected but didn't fully understand. The next video clips are about the movement to replace worship of God with worship of mankind (man being born of a woman, and "wisdom" being given a feminine gender assignment. Notice the mentioning of Plato in the above as exposing some of these philosophers to be superficial manipulators...but many of the later "sophists" of the enlightenment refer to Plato's ideas as the basis for their agenda.

The Supernatural

The fact that there are "otherworldly experiences" goes without saying. Many people would like to dismiss them altogether by saying that there is always a rational or scientifically sound explanation for these occurrences. They make us uncomfortable. They are the things of "horror movies" or "sci-fi thrillers". They cannot possibly involve something so primitive and superstitious as demons or devils. Surely these come from psychological predispositions, i.e. explainable illnesses with medical causes. Certainly that MUST be the case, or we might all be susceptible, and the thought is just too frightening to be acceptable....

In another post where she talks about demonic possession, she tells of a situation involving a school where
"One parent believes the demons were released during the Divali pooja (Hindu prayer) at the school". Harry Potter and the Children's Indoctrination part 2

I found a bit more about Harry Potter's connection to the satanic...I watched an interview on Youtube (4 parts) all about JK Rowling and her thoughts, experiences, etc, in creating the characters and books of the Harry Potter series. She was so very likeable and seductively nice and enchanting.  She mentioned that the character of Harry Potter "visited" her while she was stuck on a stalled train, and likened the experience to the joy that she experienced with the birth of her first child....(!!!wow!) but she poo-poos the idea that she is a witch and discounts the facts that there is real witchcraft and incantations in her writings, saying that she did sprinkle some of that in but that she changed the incantations and various real parts of witchcraft into an aberation of what was real, her own invention, to suit her story....however....check this out:
