Good Angel / Bad Angel

We've all seen the image of a guy with a "good" angel on one shoulder and a "bad" angel on the other, each vying for the poor guy's attention, and we (when we are "good") root for the good angel to win, or sometimes we jokingly cast our vote with the "bad" angel, the underlying thinking being that the bad is more fun and that God wants us to be deprived of fun.

But where do our thoughts come from?

If you are honest you will confess that some thoughts are down-right evil and need to be tossed into the garbage dump of *where trashy thoughts go*.

How do we decide what is good and what is bad?

Is that true?

The Bible tells us that we are born into sin and that our spirit fights our flesh, so that is what I'll go with, although we all realize that there are good influences that pull at us as well as bad. It makes me realize all the more how hard atheists have to push away such an idea and think that it all originates from themselves. "It's all about me" seems to sum up their attitude no matter how gentle and sweet the act they put on...many ditch the act and let all that ugliness have full reign.

I Told You So

Don't you just hate it when someone had told you something and they turned out to be right...and then comes the dreaded “I told you so”?

Yeah, been there done that.

We have a beautiful (although sickly and dying) earth, flowers, trees, all sorts of animals from the small and cute to the huge and ferocious and frightening. We have the ability to see it with our eyes, to smell the roses, and to love....

                ......or not.

Hellen Keller was deaf and blind, and yet God touched her heart causing her to love and praise Him. How much more indebted to God are we who see and hear, and yet many still say “But I have no proof that there is such a being as a “God”. Will He hold those people accountable? Will He say “I told you so”?... because He has told us,  you know. None can use the excuse of "I didn't know...He didn't tell me."

When Jesus spoke of Lazarus and the rich man He said the rich man begged Jesus to send Lazarus to his brothers so they would believe. Jesus said that they had Moses and the prophets (the Old Testament writings) to tell them about Him and that even if one were to come back from the dead they wouldn't believe him (Luke ch 16) How true. Many want to believe that this is just a parable, a story, that has no truth to it. A parable like a fable, Aesop's Fables, to have a moral lesson to teach children to be obedient out of fear. I believe this is a true story and not a parable and  that the people Jesus was talking to knew the man Lazarus and the rich man from their life experience. Jesus doesn't name people in His parables, yet here He gave a name and a situation that the hearers knew about. He was telling them the truth,  telling them a deeper something about people that they actually knew.

The Bible tells us that many will shake their fists at God, blaming Him for their troubles....and they do. I see them saying “If there were a God, why doesn't He make it obvious that He exists? It's His fault I don't believe...if He indeed does exist at all”, and then they claim that they do not hate God, they simply do not believe in Him. Can you think of a more terrible thing to do to a person than say to Him: “You don't exist for me, I don't believe you”. There isn't a more hateful thing you can do to your enemies than banish them by saying “You are dead, you are nothing to me”.

When these hate-filled, pride-filled unbelievers die and see that they were wrong, will He say “I told you so”?

He won't have to because they will get what they always wanted: Eternity without God. That is what hell is. It is the exact opposite of blessing. They will be cursed forever, and forever will curse God blaming Him for their inability to be blessed by Him. Forever cursed and forever cursing, gnashing their teeth in their utter hatred of God and His blessing also hating those who have believed and trusted Jesus. They will have no more earth, no flowers or trees or beauty. All they will have is themselves and their own hatred, and their self-centered life, forever, a solitary confinement with the only person they truly love, themselves ...and those who agree with them. They will be eternally without blessings because they rejected the source of the blessings.

Hypocrisy Clearly Displayed

Something we should often ponder and speak up about:

Have you ever had an atheist (or homosexual, or pro-abortion person) tell you that they aren't trying to recruit people however their cause (against God, heterosexuals, babies or a combination of the three) is practically the only thing they talk about, and get angry or call you "insensitive" about it if you disagree with them?...hmmmm  Do you think that is being a hypocrite and a liar? I'll tell you straight out that I do.

I cannot for a moment expect to convince anyone (including myself) that I know everything about heaven and hell and exactly what that will be like, however I do have a trust that the One who has created these as well as so much more that I do not know about has a full understanding of them, and of us and our ways of justifying ourselves when we go against the One who made us.

When God originally created us He made us to be without death. There is a portion or element (that isn't exactly right either, but how to word it???) in us that God created to be like (having similarity to) Himself. Many think that our reasoning ability or our creative ability is that quality, and many think it might also include our physical appearance having qualities that have a likeness to God's physical appearance, which does agree with Jesus being God and Him having those physical and reasoning/creative qualities.

A long time ago when I only saw God as a figment of man's religious imaginings and also viewed each religion having good things to offer, I wondered why the Christian's God would knowingly create a devil and people that He knew would screw up and send us into a situation that would end up with MANY people going to a place of eternal torment. How could that be loving? Why would He do that? The problem of course is that I look at these things from fallen mankind's point of view. When I surrendered to Christ I submitted myself to wanting to understand it from His point of view, and that is obtained by seeking Him out sincerely in His word to us and through the confirmation He gives through His Holy Spirit of what is true and what is false.

Jesus gave us many parables of what the Kingdom of heaven is like. Why didn't God just come right out and show us all directly? Why do we have to work so hard at this and why must it include having a trust in a God that we cannot all see with our physical eyes in our mortality? Why did Jesus have to die and leave so that we would receive the Holy Spirit to have to rely on? Many, many unending questions and God simply says "trust Me", but how? How does one trust anyone? You learn about Him over time and He does promise to reveal Himself to those who honestly seek Him out with passion and conviction of knowing and confessing our weaknesses and shortcomings.

The question "Is eternal torment a just punishment for being wrong?" is a question that I've asked myself prior to being saved and have struggled with after being saved. The difference is that prior to my salvation I thought that my reasonings on this were just as qualified and justifiable as any other on any topic and that everyone has a right to their own opinions on this and anything else, and that would be true if God indeed is a product of mankind's imagination. But then if there is no God, why is there a deep down desire in us to worship (setting aside all of the holes in the theory of evolution and that whole mess, let's just focus on our spiritual inclinations or the opposing spiritual revulsions we as human beings have)? I've heard it said, and I wholeheartedly agree that we all worship something whether it be the God of the Bible, or things in this world, people we admire and set up as idols, the world itself as Gaea the "earth mother", money and the things that it can provide us with, or ultimately we worship ourselves and elevate what we ourselves want to think and want to believe as the highest of what is to be worshiped.

So is THAT a just punishment for being wrong? Eternal hell? Really?

According to what I've learned from the Bible, the premise for that question is incorrect. Going back to the fact that we have inside of us a quality that is like God, a spiritual quality, an eternal quality, then it is reasonable to understand that this quality will continue on without end. If God is the ultimate good, then anything that stands opposed to the ultimate good is evil. The devil was once "good" and then for whatever reason (the Bible said he desired to put himself above God, and I can see this as perfectly logical) he turned against God and took a third of the angels of heaven to be on his side. When God created this devil didn't He know that this creature should not be created? Why did He? We can ask why questions all day long as a petulant child could wear out a parent with incessant "why" questions, and in the end it truly is "Because God said so".

I believe from what I see in the Bible that when God created everything He created it "good" but not "perfect" because only He is perfect. If I were to liken it to a parable that has meaning in our human life it would be that I can create paintings and sculptures etc, but these will never be the equal of what I am and have all the qualities that I have as God created me to be. So God created good things that had a potential inherent in it to be able to go bad. When I create something that turns out to be (in my estimation) a failure, I scrap it, out it goes into the rubbish with all other rubbish. God created us as good with a quality that has a likeness to Himself, and according to the Bible, that likeness includes an eternal spiritual element or quality.

When Jesus died He was on a cross that was just over a giant trash heap that was always burning which was named Gehenna. Everything that happens and is retold of in the Bible has a reason for being so. The pagan symbolism that many might equate with this Christian narrative might be of a phoenix rising up out of it's own fiery ashes of it's destruction. But that isn't the complete story of what is being represented with this occurrence in the life of Christ. The trash heap is a result of the trash that is made by us, by mankind, one of the physical consequences of our decline into spiritual depravity. He provided a way that takes us from this trash, to pay the ransom price that releases us from what our destiny is. Because of the fall we are all destined for that eternally burning trashpile because we are horribly disfigured spiritually by the rebellion against God. God has made a way---only one (like a governor's pardon for a death row inmate) way to be released from a destiny that is absolutely the one we are all justly headed for, and if we do not accept it, it is our one and only ticket out of that certain destination.

So then the answer to the question "Is eternal torment a just punishment for being wrong?" is "yes", and the answer to "why?" is:
               "Because God said so".

If that isn't good enough for you, you worship your own way more than you worship God's way, and you will have no excuse.

Be warned that this is a very disturbing video; do not watch it if you have a weak stomach for the ugly things that are going on in this world... however, the value I see in knowing about this is that we can get too complacent about the awful things that are happening, we need to be awake and aware of what is going on, and to stand strong against all of the evil in this world. I too become complacent at times and think that this world "isn't that bad"...however, the truth is there is much that is wrong with this world and our hearts need to be broken about it, Jesus wept over Jerusalem for their unbelief. How much more should we be in tears about the evil and unbelief that is our current situation. God help us!

The Worldly "Wise" (wise in their own eyes, that is)

The ways of this world have a way of seeming to be stemming from wisdom, it seems right, but it leads to destruction. What if we can gather all the comfort and happiness and wealth of this world, and live in a peace that this world gives, and have everything that our flesh desires, and not have the Lord, and lose our soul....Jesus asked that question, what would it prosper us? Trading a few temporary years for a vast eternity. It sounds wise to those who have no hope for eternity I suppose, but God's word tells us such "wisdom" is very shortsighted. He knows the bigger picture, and has promised us so much more than we can ever comprehend with our mortal faculties....and He who promised us such splendid promises also keeps all His promises. Why be short-changed by a few temporary amusements? Because the devil makes them seem like they are all there is, like it is the only thing that matters at all, just as he did with Eve and the first temptation to doubt God's wisdom and providence. God loves us so much, and He knows that we get easily distracted and dissatisfied and grumbly, to our own hurt. When I truly thank Him and praise Him, He fills me with His joy that surpasses all the junk we can try to mimic that blessed feeling that the Lord desires to bless us with. One day, in His presence, no longer battling this awful flesh, and the temptations of the evil one, we will enjoy the passion, the praise, the honor, the glory of being in the company of the most glorious and loving being there ever was and ever will be, and it won't be a roller coaster life of ups and downs like we have here...it will be constant peace, constant love, constant joy, constant honesty, constant reverence, forever, and ever, in holy communion with our Lord and Savior and Friend. 

I have seen those who call themselves "Christian" coming out of their "closets" and exposing who they really are, wise in their own wisdom, with all the stealth and smooth words of the devil himself, and getting approval of other atheists like themselves for their "boldness" and "wisdom" for "telling it like it REALLY is". The Bible does tell us about these scoffers who scoff what He has to say, and their final end. Does it really matter that they come to a place here where they are satisfied with themselves, and gain approval of god-haters? What will that gain them

Can a Truly Saved Person Fall Away? Part 3

This has to do with the falling away of a person by means of mixing truth with untruth. This person truly believes he or she was saved but now gives in to doctrines of demons who mix truth with lies. This was the devil's trick from the beginning, wasn't it? He got Eve to believe his trickery and caused her to believe him over God the true Creator, making her think his ideas and temptation was more fair, more in line with what she truly deserved. And what did it lead to? It led to her and her husband's undoing.

Can a Truly Saved Person Fall Away Part 2

The abbreviated and direct answer is "no"

There is a remnant that is always talked about in the scriptures, and when reading the Bible the whole of it needs to be considered instead of dissecting it's parts and only taking what you want and throwing out the rest. However even if a person does THAT there are essentials that will always remain in the person who is born of the Spirit of God. The essentials:

1. God alone is true and everyone else is a liar (if you must chose between one or the other). We all err, no one gets it perfect here, so if there is error it would be on the side of man getting it wrong, not God.

2. Jesus came into this world, fully God made flesh, to die for our sins, and was resurrected from the dead on the third day. As He was resurrected so will He resurrect to eternal life those who are found in Him.

3. There is a hell which is eternal separation from God. We all were destined for it. God's grace provided one way to escape it. There is no other way except the way He has provided, Jesus sacrifice for our sins. Our sins would send us all to hell. His blood pays the ransom for that inevitable ending to be circumvented.

If anyone says they believed those 3 things above "at one time" but believe it no more, they never truly believed it. They may have thought they did, in a group think kind of way, by attending church, singing the songs, praying, REALLY PRAYING for forgiveness....however there is a surrender involved

World's first GM babies born

The world's first geneticallymodified humans have been created, it was revealed last night.
The disclosure that 30 healthy babies were born after a series of experiments in the United States provoked another furious debate about ethics.
So far, two of the babies have been tested and have been found to contain genes from three 'parents'.
Fifteen of the children were born in the past three years as a result of one experimental programme at the Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Science of St Barnabas in New Jersey.
The babies were born to women who had problems conceiving. Extra genes from a female donor were inserted into their eggs before they were fertilised in an attempt to enable them to conceive.

Genetic fingerprint tests on two one-year- old children confirm that they have inherited DNA from three adults --two women and one man.

The fact that the children have inherited the extra genes and incorporated them into their 'germline' means that they will, in turn, be able to pass them on to their own offspring.
Altering the human germline - in effect tinkering with the very make-up of our species - is a technique shunned by the vast majority of the world's scientists.
Geneticists fear that one day this method could be used to create new races of humans with extra, desired characteristics such as strength or high intelligence.
Writing in the journal Human Reproduction, the researchers, led by fertility pioneer Professor Jacques Cohen, say that this 'is the first case of human germline genetic modification resulting in normal healthy children'.
Some experts severely criticised the experiments. Lord Winston, of the Hammersmith Hospital in West London, told the BBC yesterday: 'Regarding the treat-ment of the infertile, there is no evidence that this technique is worth doing . . . I am very surprised that it was even carried out at this stage. It would certainly not be allowed in Britain.'
John Smeaton, national director of the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children, said: 'One has tremendous sympathy for couples who suffer infertility problems. But this seems to be a further illustration of the fact that the whole process of in vitro fertilisation as a means of conceiving babies leads to babies being regarded as objects on a production line.
'It is a further and very worrying step down the wrong road for humanity.'

Professor Cohen and his colleagues diagnosed that the women were infertile because they had defects in tiny structures in their egg cells, called mitochondria.
They took eggs from donors and, using a fine needle, sucked some of the internal material - containing 'healthy' mitochondria - and injected it into eggs from the women wanting to conceive.
Because mitochondria contain genes, the babies resulting from the treatment have inherited DNA from both women. These genes can now be passed down the germline along the maternal line.
A spokesman for the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA), which regulates 'assisted reproduction' technology in Britain, said that it would not license the technique here because it involved altering the germline.
Jacques Cohen is regarded as a brilliant but controversial scientist who has pushed the boundaries of assisted reproduction technologies.

He developed a technique which allows infertile men to have their own children, by injecting sperm DNA straight into the egg in the lab.

Prior to this, only infertile women were able to conceive using IVF. Last year, Professor Cohen said that his expertise would allow him to clone children --a prospect treated with horror by the mainstream scientific community.
'It would be an afternoon's work for one of my students,' he said, adding that he had been approached by 'at least three' individuals wishing to create a cloned child, but had turned down their requests.

14 Year Old Girl Asked to be Raped by Guard....sigh....

An ongoing civil suit seeking damages against a prison guard and the Terrebonne Parish juvenile detention facility in Louisiana where he worked has sunk to a new low. Attorneys defending the Parish and facility are actually making the argument that a 14-year-old girl is responsible for being repeatedly raped by the prison guard in question.
ThinkProgress reports that the emotionally traumatized now 20-year-old woman is suing the facility and the Parish for not protecting her from former guard Angelo Vickers, who is now serving a seven-year sentence for molestation.

In an effort to shield the Parish and facility from liability in the case, lawyers are employing an outrageous argument. They claim the then 14-year-old girl wanted to be raped repeatedly by her 40-year-old prison guard/rapist.
Needless to say, child advocates and victims advocates are outraged that an attorney representing the local government would make such a claim, even though Louisiana law clearly states that anyone under the age of 17 cannot consent to sex. This ‘blaming the victim’ strategy resulted in child advocate and attorney, Carolyn McNabb, to fire off a letter to attorney Alexander Crighton, asking him to strike the accusation from the court record and drop the defense tactic entirely.

This needs to be filed under the "You've got to be kidding me!!!" heading. The comments of the readers somehow have made this all about being a Republican/conservative problem, which I don't understand. I think there are perverts and lawless men and women on both sides of the political isle.

Witchcraft in the Church?

This is "one of those things" that you don't need to know every detail about. I personally think it is good to listen to a good presentation given by a godly pastor, to help to understand what is creeping into the church, and to be able to reach out to those caught in it's bondage.

Of course one can "just pray" for people; "the effectual prayers of a righteous man (person) availeth much" James 5:16.  

The Bible also says:
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,   Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference:  And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Jude 1:20-23


"Pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh" sounds to me like a forceful action that is taken to grab people and yank them out while there is time to help them escape. I've been helped much by ministries that expose what is wrong with this world....and I understand that they only scratch the surface of what is wrong.

This video exposes the subtleties of the seductions that have entered into the church. Years ago those who claimed the name of Jesus were more discerning than to accept  this blatantly satanic stuff into their midst. The church today is not so discerning. I think it is good to get the wake up call and see just how far the apostasy has spread. This is just one litmus test. Pray before viewing, during viewing and after viewing, that it might help you to yank others from this "strange fire".

The original video I had here was removed, unfortunately. It had many clips of Ms. Rowlings saying that her books are "Christian" and "moral", and yet admitting that according to herself about 1/3 of the witchcraft in her books is accurately portrayed when compared to witchcraft the religion.  It also showed many "Christian" pastors and leaders saying there is nothing wrong with the books and films. It also made connections with some modern "Christian" beliefs and practices showing that they have much in common with witchcraft and the occult.

Privacy? or Sneakiness?

There is a difference. I understand the desire for privacy. My dear hubby hates his photograph being taken, let alone having it published on the social media websites (!!!). His reasoning is somewhat unreasonable to me, but I respect it because I know it is not out of a sense of wanting to hide something.

When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, their first reaction was to cover themselves. They did not want what they did to be in full view. That is why they made fig leaved aprons for themselves. There was a slight difference between Adam and Eve's situation and our own situation today. Adam and Eve were not in the midst of a sinful (sin-filled) culture, but were alone with only animals and plants...and the Lord...I personally don't believe they were trying to hide their sin from the plants and animals, so the only One they were trying to keep from finding out about their sin was God. God did not accept THEIR MEANS of covering themselves but instead provided them with a skin of an animal (something had to die as a result of their sin) and HE PROVIDED the proper way to be covered.

Are we so different from our first parents? We too try to cover the wrongs that we do in ways that perhaps we think will make them appear less bad, or make ourselves look good (in our own eyes, at least). Is that the correct way? Of course not. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father but THROUGH HIM. Those are not just pretty words. They are the truth that sets us free from having to cover ourselves with our own ways of trying to "look good", or hiding altogether from others. I have been to websites where the blogger cleverly hides everything about what they really are about. The website is pretty, pretty pictures, pretty (but empty) words, things that inspire others to want to know more about this family and this blogger, and this blogger always, ALWAYS, had me wondering about what they really stood for, and why it was not openly proclaimed. Why hide? Privacy? Then why blog? And if we truly are in Jesus, why not proclaim it in everything, truly showing that we have HIS covering over OUR SIN, which is something we as Christians are to proclaim, especially in a time such as this....

And yet, instead, there are excuses, and charming alternatives that Jesus "must also bless" because He is a loving God after all, isn't He? Yes. He is a loving God. And like a truly loving Parent, He won't allow for self-deception, especially self-deception in Christians (or those who when pressed will say they are) who have as their main self-interest the desire to gain other people's praise for themselves, instead of where it rightly belongs, with God alone. Then it is still our own works, fig-leaves, that we want others to be impressed with. When we truly love our loving God, we only find comfort in desiring that others know how Jesus alone gets all the glory..... if there is any good to be found in me, it is ONLY because of Him. Is that something that I should keep hidden? Will God be "ok" with my attempts at making Him a hidden "side-kick" of mine that I once in a while bring out so that I can show myself to be a "good Christian"? What can we learn from our first parents regarding such behavior?

This is something that I've been wondering about with all the "big brother surveillance" lately. Many want to do away with such surveillance and I agree in part that it is again the way this world operates, it wants to replace God, to make itself God, watching over us. But do we need to hide ourselves? Do we need fig leaves to make ourselves appear good to others? Or can our lights shine all the brighter when those in the world are calling evil "good" and calling good "evil"? Do we hide our light under a bushel when it is unpopular to be a Christian and only display it for self gratification? Or must we proclaim it even if it gets us, like the early disciples, killed?

Time will tell who the "real Christians" truly are. We have nothing to hide, because we have an Advocate to the Father. :)

DOMA Decision

I cannot even begin to express how sickened I feel by the Supreme Court decision on the Defense of Marriage Act. I know I shouldn't be surprised, and yet I still am, and truth be told I am horrified. Dr. James White had a few words to say a few months ago which I find fitting. We are living in perilous times, no doubt about it. I hope and pray that "the church" wakes up. We need to be praying for our nation, praying for repentance and praying for the church to valiantly proclaim the truth in a world that hates the truth.

I've somewhat been avoiding reading or listening to the reports of the recent events that occurred in Connecticut. I just didn't want to hear about it and give my little bit of added fuel to that fire...however yesterday, I did look around to see what some of  my favorite blogger friends had to say about it, and of course also picked a Phil Johnson sermon to listen to. What Lyn had to say about this topic put it back into the greater context for me, and the Phil Johnson sermon reminded me that this is a spiritual war. Lyn mentions that Obama's little "reaction" is deserving of some kind of Golden Globe (interesting typology) award. I did see a clip of Obama's little comment on the Connecticut incident. The little swipe of the finger of his left hand at an imaginary tear was quite touching (not!). But again, all these things are things I can see on the outside, which cover a much much bigger and uglier problem on the inside...the unseen blackness of what God sees throughout all of this creation.

I've still been having problems at my workplace, and my DH also has been going through some ugly things in his work environment. I often only focus on the seen, the people that become the focus of my irritation. I often forget about the larger context, the deeper, unseen element that is causing the little bit that we see of it, the scattered incidents here and there.

I once saw a movie on television of an adaptation of H.G. Wells "The Time Machine". In this story, a  scientist invents a machine that can carry him forward and backward in time. He travels to a future time where there are gentle "Eloi" and terrifying "Morlocks". The Eloi are beautiful and live peacefully, eating fruit, above the ground. The Morlocks are monstrously ugly, and live underground. Once in a while one comes out from underground and snatches an Eloi, whom he drags back underground, and has Eloi supper that evening. I think this movie is almost a parable of the hidden evil that is always there, just under the surface, and once in a while comes out in terrifying ways. We can live with the evil, as long as it "behaves in certain ways" and makes itself unseen, or serves the purposes we want from it. That fact in itself shows the hidden evil is there within us all.

Every time an ugly thought rises up in me, that is a Morlock rising up from the hidden depths, out to the light of day, and there is no way to beautify that ugly thing... it is ugly. All I can say is "God have mercy on me, a sinner".... And He does. :)

That Woman Jezebel

 

Something striking that I notice about this sculpture is that although the woman is made to look beautiful, there is something very masculine and androgynous about her. The same could be said about our "statue of liberty"...the intense look of the face and it's strong and subtly angry features, the posture, and the position of the shoulders to the collarbone, seem to lend it a "masculine air". Interesting that Michelangelo often used male models for his artwork of women and simply "added breasts" ...do a search on his works and you can see this is true.

This series of videos has some startling information about "that woman Jezebel" that when seen together show us a portrait of a "spirit of deception" that has taken a deep hold on modern society. From terms such as "Mother Earth", Gaia, Venus, Diana, Lilith, we see the strong female "liberated woman" of today who has control over her body, her finances, her destiny, her men, and even in positions of power over many men, women in high leadership positions of today's government systems. Mrs. Obama also is much more active and visible than "first ladies" of the past. The fact that Jackie Kennedy was as forward as she was (much more so than first ladies previous to her) led some to criticize them at the time, though many more idolized her...

What does the Bible tell us about the spirit of Jezebel?
Rev_2:20  Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
(also do a word search on Jezebel and read about her interactions with Elijah in 1 and 2 Kings.)

I knew much of what is said in these video clips already, but it helped me to organize my thoughts about what I already knew, and filled in some gaps of info on this that I didn't know, and helped me better understand how far we are in God's timeline here on earth....

Do Dreams Mean Anything? Part 2

Ok, this is just....too coincidental, that I would be drawn to read about this on Velvet's blog... I read the vigilant citizen article many months ago, but what Velvet said about influences and  spiritual warfare is EXACTLY what my dream was saying to me in my spirit...that there are spiritual forces at work seducing us and manipulating us through fearing the consequences if we don't go along with their agenda! I know some of us don't fall for it...but many are falling for it...and I have to humbly admit that I did fall for it for many years, giving in to what deep down I knew was wrong, so the "cool people" would also think that I was one of them. That is exactly it, what I tried (and kinda couldn't find the right words) to say yesterday.  What the dream was about was all this junk, the abortion/murder industry, the homosexual perversion agenda, and ecumenical stuff about everyone banding together on the "love train" which is anything but loving...it is sinister, it is evil, it is hardening people and making them more and more hateful and prideful and against anything holy and pure....it is poisoning people's spirits by choosing to take the easy way out of wanting to "get along" with the majority, with the "cool people" and not wanting to appear to be a nerd, or worse, an ignorant fool (that "they" want to paint born again Christians to be). Out of that fear many just join up with the evil agendas, so they won't look stupid....joining with the stupid so they themselves won't look stupid... Everyone is joining everyone else by saying "Yes, don't the emperor's clothes look marvelous" because they don't want to be different and dumb-looking by pointing out the obvious...the emperor is NAKED, and blind and dumb....and oh so wrong!!! If I say it, I will be different, and will look funny to others, and they will call me names and think I'm stupid....vanity.

So what if they think I'm stupid, if they are the ones that have given in to stupidity such as that?

Harry Potter and the Children's Indoctrination part 2

I found a bit more about Harry Potter's connection to the satanic...I watched an interview on Youtube (4 parts) all about JK Rowling and her thoughts, experiences, etc, in creating the characters and books of the Harry Potter series. She was so very likeable and seductively nice and enchanting.  She mentioned that the character of Harry Potter "visited" her while she was stuck on a stalled train, and likened the experience to the joy that she experienced with the birth of her first child....(!!!wow!) but she poo-poos the idea that she is a witch and discounts the facts that there is real witchcraft and incantations in her writings, saying that she did sprinkle some of that in but that she changed the incantations and various real parts of witchcraft into an aberation of what was real, her own invention, to suit her story....however....check this out:

In Harry Potter, the character named Sirius Black is most likely a reference to Sirius B. (the “darker” star of Sirius’ binary system). He is Harry Potter’s godfather, which makes Sirius, once again, a teacher and a guide. The wizard can turn into a big black dog, another link with the “dog star”.

 

Harry Potter and the Children's Indoctrination

This one came up rather suddenly today, it is something that has been in the back of my mind concerning some family members, and bubbled up to the surface quite explosively today.

J.K. Rowlings has said that she is a Christian. I just cannot make the two match up together. How can a Christian dream up such a satanic character steeped in so much witchcraft? How can a Christian indoctrinate so many children into wanting to be witches and warlocks and practice magic spells? There are also people who call themselves Christians who recommend these books and movies, and I have to wonder, why??? Are these really "moral" stories? Really?

The Truth About Psychopaths

When we think of a psychopath, the image of Charles Manson, or Anthony Hopkins playing Hannibal Lecter comes to mind... however, that isn't really the full story about psychopaths, that is one tiny branch of this psychological condition. I was looking at the Truther Girls blog recently and saw what they said on the subject, and then did some more looking around...and also fell back on what I learned this summer.
