Anyway, this is about 10 mins long:
The artist in this video is a gentleman, but the speaker is Barbara Ehrenreich...
Barbara Ehrenreich has a blog:

and has written a few books:

Isaiah_58:11 And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
Please be as gracious as you would like others to be to you. Thank you :)
Please try to keep your comments on the topic of the post you are commenting on.
If there is a link to an article or podcast, or if there is an embedded video please view these before airing your views on the posting. If you clearly did not watch video/read link I may choose to not respond to it ...particularly if you have a question that is already answered on link or video.
Opposing viewpoints are of course allowed here as long as the conversation remains civil. If it runs on and on and becomes burdensome and repetitive I will probably lock the comments on that posting. Thank you, I hope we can grow together in a true friendship as God would have it. 🙂
I've had experience with this willful ignorance in the financial realm (personal finances) before. It didn't work. It won't work on a big scale either!
ReplyDeleteLove the artwork.
Hi Ma,
ReplyDeleteThe artist is a man, the speaker is Barbara Ehrenreich...I'm going to look her up...she's interesting :)
Found her website and blog, and am going to edit original post to include them there.
ReplyDelete"the visible church (as opposed to the elect, whose calling is known in the spirit, by God) is picking up the mantra of the forced positive happy faced thinking to bring "health and wealth" to their audiences." Right on the money (pun intended). And they call it faith. Crazy, I've been there. Thank God for His grace!
ReplyDeleteHi Petra,
DeleteI've been there too. Sometimes these things can get very disconcerting, and then I remember that our God is much greater, more powerful, and wonderful than all of the corruption, anger, hatefulness, and ugliness....and He is truly good. I can rest in that :) but we need to stay alert to these things.
