( Edited to remove error which I became aware of through Ma's comment. Thank you Ma :) )
Please see the warnings that God clearly gives, from His word, and as we see these things unfolding before us.

Isaiah_58:11 And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
Please be as gracious as you would like others to be to you. Thank you :)
Please try to keep your comments on the topic of the post you are commenting on.
If there is a link to an article or podcast, or if there is an embedded video please view these before airing your views on the posting. If you clearly did not watch video/read link I may choose to not respond to it ...particularly if you have a question that is already answered on link or video.
Opposing viewpoints are of course allowed here as long as the conversation remains civil. If it runs on and on and becomes burdensome and repetitive I will probably lock the comments on that posting. Thank you, I hope we can grow together in a true friendship as God would have it. 🙂
It's interesting you should bring this up:
ReplyDeletewas wrong with setting an exact date
The lesson we taught the kids today in our Sunday school class was about this:
21 You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” 22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.
I didn't actually watch it, but does Mr. Wilkerson say God told him or is he just speculating?
Hi Ma,
DeleteIt's a really good video, hope you get a chance to see it.
Pastor Wilkerson preached on eschatology much in the same vein as Hal Lindsey. For some reason I keep mixing him up with Harold Camping. I couldn't answer your comment right away because I was at work, but fortunately I was able to edit the misinformation as soon as I realized what I did. Thanks for the comment or I might not ever have noticed my error.
:)
BTW, if you are up to looking at yet another timeline for a possible time for Jesus to return, here's an interesting one:

Don Koenig says it's approximate (of course) and that it's possible he could be completely wrong :) but gives his reasons why he thinks this might possibly be about how it will pan out. God only knows, and He hasn't told us yet.
I didn't mean that you should change it:) Just that maybe we (I) should stop listening to people who are setting dates at all. It's always good to watch and pray and rest in the Lord. He's got it covered.
ReplyDeleteOh, I definitely know that God has it covered, and like you say, we have to watch, and warn those who are lost. The way that I realized that I needed God was that someone at my work when I was still a youngster, cared enough about me to tell me about the end times, and the mark of the beast. That woke me up. At first I went the wrong direction, but eventually the Lord brought me to understand about Him. But I never would have looked at all if Don didn't put it into terms that I could see happening all around me. I definitely do not fret or worry about it, nor do I get depressed about it. I'm very excited that His coming is just a few years away. :D
